Grhastha Dharma
This booklet is the translated text of the forthright and eloquent Hindi speech delivered by Swami Ranganathananda in Chhapra, Bihar, on 12 April 1992, on the occasion of the dedication of the Ramakrishna Adhbutananda Ashrama the previous day. Translated into English by a devotee and edited by the speaker, the speech was first published in The Vedanta Kesari, a monthly of the Ramakrishna Math.
The theme is about how the today’s citizens of democratic India could remould their individual and collective responsibilities as shown by the modern day sages, Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. The free-flowing analysis is easy to understand, absorbing to read, and a call to action.
