* This book is for sale in India only and cannot be exported to other countries
This book is an in-depth scientific study into the meaning of the broad terms universe, God and God-realization in the light of Vedanta. With a lucid treatment of the difficult doctrine of maya, the book also compares the Vedic and the Christian conceptions of creation.
Infused with a scholar’s touch, the book is divided into four parts, each into several chapters with synopses of each chapter arranged under appropriate subheadings. The text draws from both Sanskrit and English literature.
The author, Swami Satprakashananda, was initiated into the spiritual life by Swami Brahmananda and later ordained as a monk by Swami Shivananda. He established the Vedanta Society in St Louis, Missouri in 1978 and headed the Society for the next forty years.
This book can be a source of reference on Vedanta to get ready answers to many philosophical questions.
